There are common reasons which resulted in your Hugosave Platinum Visa Debit Card being declined. Sometimes we make errors; we are all 'human' after all, or our AI fraud engine spots 'suspicious' activity on the card.
- Inputting incorrect card details online, i.e. card number, CVV and expiry date
- Check you didn't forget to unlock your card from when you temporarily blocked the card, fearing it lost or stolen
- Similarly, check you didn't accidentally 'lock your card' in the Hugosave app. On the Home screen, the top right-hand side red card icon will have a lock symbol showing in white
- Our automated fraud security system may decline transactions if we see irregular activity
