The SRF does not cover:
- Scams where victims willingly make payments at the point of transaction but are deceived by the underlying premise for the payment. (e.g., investment or romance scams).
- Scams where victims were deceived into giving away his/her credentials to the scammers (e.g., through calls, SMS or face-to-face).
- Scams involving hacking, identity theft, or malware, which do not include phishing.
